Wie einem Schreiben des ViP-Betriebsrats und der Presse entnommen werden konnte, wird von der ViP-Leitung bzw. ihrem Hauptgesellschafter, der Landeshauptstadt Potsdam,
eine Angleichung der Tarife an die BVG-Tarife in Berlin gefordert.
Dazu der Vorsitzende der AfD-Stadtfraktion, Chaled-Uwe Said:
„Der öffentliche Nahverkehr in Potsdam muss zweifellos attraktiv für seine Mitarbeiter bleiben, um Mitarbeiter zu halten und neues Personal einfacher rekrutieren zu können.
Die Forderung des Betriebsrats ist daher verständlich.
Angesichts der klammen Potsdamer Stadtkasse, teilweise bedingt durch die Einbrüche bei den Steuereinnahmen
infolge des Corona-Shutdowns, erscheint das Ansinnen auf Angleichung der Löhne an Berliner Tarife jedoch überzogen.
Wir schlagen Tarifverhandlungen mit Augenmaß vor.
Ähnlich wie in Industrieunternehmen bietet sich für die Verbesserung der Arbeitsplatzattraktivität an, die Wochenarbeitszeiten zu senken bei gleichbleibenden oder moderat erhöhten Lohnzahlungen.
So können auch weitere Arbeitsplätze geschaffen werden, ohne das Personalbudget der ViP übermäßig zu strapazieren und sogar Überstunden abgebaut oder vermieden werden.“
