Die AfD-Stadtfraktion erinnert heute an den Beginn des Baus der Berliner Mauer vor 59 Jahren. Sie trennte bis zum 10. November 1989 28 Jahre lang Potsdam von Berlin.
Wir gedenken der 140 Mauertoten, die insgesamt zu beklagen waren.
13 Deutsche wurden bei ihrer Flucht über die Parks und Seen Potsdams ins freie Berlin erschossen.
Die Mauer war nicht nur das betongewordene Symbol der willkürlichen Trennung Deutschlands sondern auch das eines gescheiterten, diktatorischen, sozialistischen Systems.
